Our people are the company’s most valuable asset. We follow this password at A2B.
Thanks to support from the European Social Fund and the European Regional Development Fund within the Operational Program Human Resources, our company implemented the project A2B employee skills development. You will learn how the training took place and how the project turned out in this article.
The completion of the project was 30 November 2023. 58 colleagues were trained in various fields. A total of 53 participants qualified.
These trainings, rich in theory and practice, encouraged employees to acquire knowledge and develop their skills, but also strengthened the collective. Employees developed new skills professionally, including skills from the digital environment. The lecturer used all programs that are used in the company on a daily basis, communicated with colleagues (participants) and tried to conduct these trainings in a pleasant, comprehensible form or in the form of a game. All this was the goal of the project, which was also fulfilled.
Access to the latest technologies
In this day and age, when technology and innovation are constantly changing, it is crucial that our employees have access to the latest tools and techniques. These trainings have not only enhanced their competencies, but also ensured that our firm remains at the forefront of industry trends and offers only the best services to our clients
Colleagues also discussed “soft skills” topics with an external lecturer, where they learned a lot about effective work processes, documentation processing, internal company communication and also about communication between internal and external customers. Topics such as time management, personal development, emotional intelligence and stress management, assertiveness and etiquette were also very popular.

The lecturer often had prepared joint activities on the given topic, where the participants, in addition to education, also reacted a little, thus promoting a good working atmosphere.
So that language is not a barrier
Another important aspect of our training was the English language. The English language courses were focused on the specific needs of the various departments of our company and the industry in which we operate. We focused on technical terminologies that are essential for our technicians and engineers. Storekeepers acquired knowledge in English related to warehouse processes, supply chains and distribution. The English lessons of our managers and executives included topics that are designed to effectively and professionally communicate with partners, clients and teams that go beyond the borders of the Slovak Republic.
The aim of the English language lessons was to ensure that all employees have the language skills necessary for advancement and growth not only within the company, but also in their personal lives. The lecturers tried to adjust the lessons so that it was not only classical learning, but also pleasant moments spent in an environment with colleagues and learning a foreign language.
The entire project was evaluated as very successful and beneficial in all respects.
