Device with technology using the Peltier principle

The technology cabinet with a dedicated air-conditioned space for the KSBM4/TN-P-F batteries is designed for placing 19″ technology in an outdoor environment with the possibility of maintaining a constant temperature for the batteries and forced ventilation of the heat loss of the installed technology depending on the surrounding weather conditions. The stable temperature of the battery compartment is ensured by semiconductor technology using the Peltier principle, which ensures lower operating costs for energy and a reduction in cabinet noise.

The KSBM4/TN-P-F is equipped with a 48 V DC power supply with power according to the number of installed rectifier modules, with battery protection against deep discharge (LVD and 2 x PLD) and three 48 V battery packs in front terminal design.

Designed for backing up telecommunication, security or control technologies in an outdoor environment, with regard to ecology, saving electricity and preserving the longest possible battery life.

The double-shell cabinet with insulation in the standard version includes:

  • A pair of lockable doors with 3-point locking.
  • Power section with AC and DC distributions, overvoltage protection, checking the presence of the AC supply network, motor-driven circuit breaker with automatic reclosing for the AC input of the rectifier system, service socket with current protector.
  • CELLD300E 9SH source with two DPS850B-48-6RS grids for max. 12 DPR850B-48 rectifiers. ORION control unit. 19″ racks for placing the technology (max. 36U + 7U for the source part).
  • Dedicated air-conditioned space for batteries.
  • Output for powering aviation warning lighting.
  • Thermoelectric air conditioning unit PK300. Technological space ventilated using a fan located under the roof of the cabinet, the speed of which is regulated by the temperature of the ventilated space and heated by a heating element with an input of 250 W.
  • LED lighting 48 V DC located on the ceiling of the cabinet and a portable LED lamp 230 V AC with a movable supply, door contacts
  • 2 x LSA strip with output alarms.
  • Sagemcom ESM communicator and power meter for remote monitoring via GSM network.
  • Power supply with 9 measuring shunts for measuring currents:
    • 3 x shunt for separate current measurement of each battery string,
    • 6 x shunt for separate current measurement for 6 different technological groups.
  • Filters against the ingress of dust into the cabinet space with easy handling during replacement.
  • Roof with eyelets for handling with a lifting device.
  • Base with holes for fixing the cabinet to the supporting structure.
