- The converter is a device designed for remote controlled discharging and charging the battery (Pb, Li, NiCd, …), monitoring of measured values and states via the RS485 (version N) or ETHERNET interface (version E).
- It allows the battery to be remotely discharged, charged or isolated from the system voltage without the need to know the type of power supply or its communication interface.
- The converter makes it possible to smoothly change the consumption of the telecommunications system and maintain a constant draw from the mains.
- The device may contain specific firmware that can work with other devices as well as air conditioning, electricity meter, compensator …
- It allows to control the consumption of the telecommunications system safely from the mains, according to the energy schedule from the superior control system.
- OPTION – version E – The converter can communicate with a connected BMS (battery monitoring system) for lithium batteries using Modbus RTU protocol, Modbus TCP, SNMP v1 / v2.
